Formerly of the bands Play Hooky, Raging Case, and many others, Colorado based musicians Brad Olson and Keith Varney release their combined effort: Project O.A.K. (Oly and Keith).

Veterans of the Colorado Springs music scene, their styles have developed through years of writing, practicing, playing gigs and thousands of hours noodling to culminate in a complete new sound and instrumental showpiece of their talents.

We built this album online, hundreds of miles apart over the past few years. There are sounds reminiscent of our pasts, as well as completely new ones on this all original album.

It’s not really that complex. Get a couple of musicians together and make some music. The hard part is finding the time in a busy world, and over substantial distances, to make it happen, and then actually following through. Project O.A.K. is a musical adventure built around the creative melodies and rhythms of guitarist Brad Olson. It’s fun music, meant to be listened to while experiencing life. Driving riffs, scalding leads, all held together within solid, powerful rhythms.
